What are microdermabrasion treatments?
Microdermabrasion treatments are a non cosmetic treatment where the skin is deeply exfoliated using fine medical crystals. A microdermabrasion "vacuum" is used to remove the dead skin cells, while stimulating circulation which helps improve the appearance of the skin.
What are microdermabrasion treatments used for?
There are a number of different reasons why people may invest in microdermabrasion treatments including: -
- Ageing skin – by removing dead skin cells during microdermabrasion treatments you will reveal, newer, younger looking skin
- Fine lines – fine lines can be reduced using microdermabrasion treatments

Who carries out the microdermabrasion treatments?
If you choose to have your microdermabrasion treatments at either the Whitefield or Wilmslow Total Fitness Laser Clinics then they will be carried out by an experienced member of the team who has been chosen to work in our clinics due to the skills and qualifications they have gained throughout their career.

Prior to any laser treatment being carried out, we offer a FREE, no obligation consultation with one of our laser therapists. A routine medical questionnaire form will be completed, and the full procedure of your required
treatment type, clearly explained.
Exact treatment costs and payment options, should you decide to go ahead at a later stage, will also be provided at this time.
A FREE test patch will be carried out, as part of the consultation - this is to ensure suitability for treatment. Depending on skin type and the area being treated you may be required to leave from 24hrs - 2 weeks prior to being able to proceed with treatment.
