What is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal, as the name suggests, is the removal of hair using a laser. In technical terms a laser is used to disable the germ cell in the follicle which minimally affects the surrounding skin but considerably increases the efficiency of the hair removal process.
What Happens During a Laser Hair Removal Treatment?
In most cases of laser hair removal a gel is applied to the area which is to be treated and a hand held laser is placed onto the skin and pulses of intense light are applied to the hair.
Why Use Laser Hair Removal?
Many people opt to have laser hair removal as an alternative to many other types of hair removal. Although laser hair removal may appear expensive, good results are achieved quite quickly so when compared with other types of hair removal, such as waxing, you may find you will save money in the long run.

How many treatments of Laser Hair Removal are Needed?
The number of laser hair removal treatment will vary from person to person but we would recommend 7 – 10 sessions leaving between 4 – 6 and 8 – 12 weeks between treatments.

A FREE test patch will be carried out, as part of the consultation - this is to ensure suitability for treatment. Depending on skin type and the area being treated you may be required to leave from 24hrs - 2 weeks prior to being able to proceed with treatment.
